Our Story
Founded in 2015 by wilderness enthusiast Marcus Delacroix, Voyages Boreal began as a small family operation in the heart of British Columbia's Coast Mountains. What started as weekend camping trips for friends and family has grown into Canada's most trusted premium adventure travel company.
Our journey began when Marcus, a former park ranger with over 15 years of experience in Canadian wilderness areas, recognized the need for authentic, sustainable travel experiences that truly showcase Canada's natural beauty. Together with his wife Sarah, a marine biologist and photography expert, they created Voyages Boreal to share their passion for Canada's pristine landscapes with adventurers from around the world.
Today, we operate across all major Canadian wilderness regions, from the Arctic tundra to the Maritime coastlines, always maintaining our commitment to small group experiences and environmental stewardship that defined our humble beginnings.
